Loan Application Checklist

To help achieve our mutual goal of the quickest loan approval possible, we have devised the “Top Ten” list in an effort to eliminate at least some of the mounds of paperwork it seems you need for a mortgage application!   Please bring those items on the following list that are applicable to your situation:

TOP TEN

  1. The most recent month’s pay stubs for all borrowers for all present jobs.
  2. Copies of W2s for all borrowers for all jobs for the past two years.
  3. Most recent two months’ bank statements (all pages).
  4. If self-employed or commissioned sales, copies of the last two years’ tax returns with all schedules.
  5. Most recent 401k, pension or retirement statement.
  6. Divorce decree and separation agreement(s) if applicable.
  7. Alimony/child support documentation if using such income to qualify for the mortgage loan.
  8. A copy of the accepted offer to purchase if you have signed one already (purchase).
  9. Drivers license or photo id for all borrowers.
  10. Home address for the last two years including previous apartment numbers along with landlord and/or mortgage account information.
