Community Organizations
We are committed to our customers and our community! Annually the employees of InterLink Funding choose two local charities to receive donations from the proceeds of each loan closed, with the company matching all employee donations. The organizations selected for 2007 are The Dane County Sheriff's Department K9 Unit and the Wisconsin Lions Foundation Lions Pride Endowment Fund.
InterLink has supported The Dane County Sheriff's Department K9 Unit since 2005. So far monies contributed have enabled the purchase of K9 Thor, the K9 Unit's newest member! The Dane County Sheriff's Department and InterLink Funding share a commitment to the continued growth and community-wide support of the K9 Unit. Another very worthy organization began receiving InterLink's attention and support in 2007: The WLF Lions Pride Endowment Fund. Earnings from the fund support their main project, Wisconsin Lions Camp, a camp founded to provide free, life-changing experiences for children with special needs from all Wisconsin communities. In 2006, 84 children from Dane County attended Lions Camp. Additionally, Wisconsin Lions Foundation services extend to local clubs and communities for statewide projects such as hearing, children's vision screening, diabetes education, eyeglass recycling and youth services. InterLink Funding is also a member of the Second Harvest Foodbank's Harvest Circle (www.secondharvestmadison.org). Employees also volunteer their time and talents to their favorite community organizations, fundraisers and drives in the area as well.
